# Thumbnail Viewer windows 8

Hi

does Thumbnail Viewer on windows 8 work?? mine doesn’t work properly. some of files does work but many others doesn’t.  
is there a programm to install for Thumbnail Viewer??

The shell extensions needed are installed with Rhino.  
My guess is the files that don’t preview don’t have one in the file.  
I think maybe SaveSmall will strip it out.  
Try opening one of these files make a minor change and save it.  
Then does it preview?
