This new update installs a Tsjech (?) version instead of English

How do I get the English version? Why does it install the Tsjech(?) version (without the standard toolbar)

I think they added all language support to the WIP installer file recently, maybe a bug crept in somewhere. Can you select English in Options>Appearance and restart Rhino? You may need to figure out what the equivalent of Options>Appearance is in in Czech…

Otherwise, you could also try going into Windows control panel>Programs and Features, find Rhino WIP in the list, right-click and choose “Change”, then “Modify” and then “Select Languages”, then check (Czech?) which boxes are checked. Check English if it is not checked already, and maybe uncheck Czech… :winking_face_with_tongue:

Actually I just did the above, here just checked German, French and English, but now I have all the languages in my list… Anyway, here is where to go in Czech:

My latest WIP installed in German and I was only able to change the Language to Englisch after the installatiin was done

This issue is on our list → RH-95013 Rhino starts in wrong language
-wim

Ok,thanks a lot for your help. I will try to change the settings in options.
Modify and re-installation and selecting English I already tried, that did not work.

I don’t think you need to install again. Just go into the options and change your language

I did that, but not all Czech has disappeared.
I also had a crash when trying to open the standard window layout.
I will wait for the next WIP.

A new Windows 11 installation in Danish will also give you Rhino WIP 9 in Czeck, AND even if you change the language to English, you still save templates in the Czeck folder after restarting Rhino WIP 9.

RH-95013 is fixed in Rhino WIP
