hello.
i am using Rhino usually in meter units for achitectural objects (i know it is rare).
The thickening object parameter is limited to a mimumal value of 0.005 (0.005 actually displays as 0.01)
Would this be possible to lower this mimum a 0.001 (and actually let this value displays as 0.001, 0.00, 0.002, 0.003)?
This would be a suggestion for next updates. Or maybe some other solution already exist in Rhino 8 to solve this issue?
Best,
Vincent

Hi Vincent -
In Rhino 9, you can set the distance to 0.0001 and see all digits in the UI.
fwiw, in Rhino 8, a surface can actually have a thickening distance of 0.001. When such surface is set in Rhino 9 and copied into Rhino 8, the thickness is correct. It’s just not possible to set it that way in Rhino 8.

Hi @Vincent_Blanc-Taille
as a workaround you can set (and check) smaller thickening distance in V8 with the dashed version of the command:
-_Properties _Thickening _Distance

This much useful thank you !
