I’ve been searching high and low for a thermal mass component to do some simple energy / temperature / mass simulations.
I’ve installed Ladybug, Honeybee, HB Energy, HB Radiance etc. but no luck.
I could script my own but I’m surprised a component doesn’t already exist. Maybe I just haven’t found it yet?
I need something that has inputs like…
Mass
Density
Specific Heat Capacity
Initial temperature
Energy Input
Energy Output (draw)
It could represent a real object like a water tank and as such could also have inputs like…
External temperature
Heat loss (insulation)
The main output would be temperature.
I don’t want to reinvent the wheel so dose anyone know if something like this exists?
