The _WireCut command does not work correctly

The _WireCut command does not work correctly both in 7.5.21068.13001, 2021-03-09 and in 8.0.21068.12305, 2021-03-09.
It does not allow the selection of the part to be cut and ends the command without giving _enter .

Just tested in 7.5 here and it seems to be working on a simple box…

WireCut_Corretto_in_RH80wip.zip (3.5 MB)

  3. Click the polysurface [ENTER]
  4. Set Command: (Direction=CPlaneNormal DeleteInput=No BothSides=Yes KeepAll=No and press [ENTER]
  5. Selection of part for deleting.
!!! This Step IS NOT Performed !!! …while in rhino8 wip is executed !!!

Version Number of rhino?
The last downlodable SR is ok
But the last Service Release CANDIDATE no.

Hi -

This seems fine in (7.6.21089.23001, 2021-03-30).

I guess it would make more sense to show what’s no working.
At any rate, please run SystemInfo in Rhino 7 and copy-paste the result here.

Install this version

Testing on another machine, you appear to be correct. The video above is on a 7.6 Daily that I needed for some other reason, on the current 7.5 RC (7.5.21089.500) I have installed on another machine I see this phenomenon - pressing Enter cuts through the object and arbitrarily removes one side - no choice for which part to remove. @wim

Hi Mitch -

Thanks for looking further!
And thanks for you systeminfo, @c3services .
I looks like there were major changes to the Wirecut command last month and some of that resulted in new bugs. As far as I can tell, all is good in 7.6 at the moment.
