The stability of Rhino MAC is worse

…as written in the headline.
I have big problems on my iMAC-OSX El Capitan (late 2011) with the stability of Rhino.
Today the program is frozen for 3 times. The design is very simple/basic. No big data.
I’m very disappointed about this program.

Is the WIN version also unstable???
Sorry…but this condition is not for professional users.

Something must be wrong with your system/configuration. I’ve been using Rhino for Mac for many years and I guarantee you that rhino is everything but unstable.
Maybe, you can upload your file so we can take a look at it, and see what’s going on.

The files are from the help site from Rhino.
It is the beginner tutorial with this many little lessons you can work with.

What should not correct with my system? What do you mean with that?

In Rhino, in the Rhinoceros pull-down menu, click About Rhinoceros, then the More Info button. Click Copy to Clipboard, then Paste the information in a reply and send it back in.

Hopefully that will have more clues.

Are you using boxedit? That pretty reliably crashes for me but other than that I’ve found the software to be totally solid.

Rock solid here across multiple Macs with complex files.

There is something wrong with your box/config IMO…

@okeating
No I don’t use boxedit. I make the simple beginner tutorials to get in touch with Rhino

@ec2638
Sorry…what did you mean with “box config”?

I believe he is asking if there is an issue with your computer “box” setup “config” that is causing Rhino to become unstable.

Box = computer
Config = installed software

Is Rhino stable in safe mode? If it is, indicates installed software issue.
