In 1910, Harley-Davidson introduced the 494cc Model 6a. That year, Harley-Davidson switched its color scheme to Renault Gray—though the 6a could still be ordered in the old paint scheme for an additional charge—Piano Black with gold pinstripes. Among collectors, it is known as “The Silent Grey Fellow.” The model was produced 343 times—it is unknown how many of these were in Piano Black—but it is certainly very rare. I used images from Bonhams and Mecum Auctions as references for my model. No textures were used—with the exception of the seat, it is a pure NURBS construction. Rendering was done in Rhino—finally at a fast pace—my new Nvidia RTX now only takes 2 minutes per image. I hope you enjoy looking at it.
