The Gumball panel is obscuring the model and it's serving what purpose?

When moving the Gumball, a floating panel appears [I had to use the phone to take the screenshot as releasing the Gumball disappears that panel].

But it is not possible to affect the options on it [because it disappears if the cursor moves away from the Gumball…] Worse : it obscures the model and the Gumball !

So what is it for ? and is there an option to disable it?

This is the commandmode option that is still being worked on, it is moving us towards parity with the windows interface (with the older options still available). Run CommandMode and change to Sidebar or CommandHistory vs Seperate Panel.

Thanks @Japhy I know about the other command stuff [sidebar and history ] and have no intention to move to these solution . The command option [free floating ] is by far the best interface solution! it just need a small cleanup .
That little panel that opens while the gumball is active, has no use and it’s obstructing the modeling work, please simply give us a way to hide [deactivate ] it.

  • In case you have hinted that this is being worked on and it will be cleaned up…? your reply wasn’t so clear to me. So I have re-emphasise the request .
