I can’t reproduce this error. If you can provide the files and steps to replicate, it will be a big help.
That’s a feature in our wish-list. So I add your vote. We need to study the best way to accomplish that, because it is not possible to select VisualARQ components from the model to assign the texture mapping (you can just select the whole object), and there is no interface in the styles dialog to assign texture mappings by component.
