I have always used the area command in order to measure the area of any surface. However, I had a problem with my views so I changed some preferences of the program and now this area command doesn´t work. I need it for some projects and I don´t know how to have it back.
Hi Paula - what happens? Does CommandHistory (F2 key) show you any results that might have scrolled out of view? Does it always fail or is it specific to some geometry? If specific, please post an example or send to tech@mcneel.com.
Please also run SystemInfo
in Rhino and post the results here.

I´ve tried with the command history but in reality it occurs in any file that I open so it is not a matter of one single file. No, is not just with some specific geometry. I´ve tried with an square and it happens the same. It seems like it is goig to calculate but then the number that had always appeared to me in the comand´s table, it doesn´t appears.

It doesn´t appear in the command´s bar but if I visit the history it appears there so it’s enought. Thank you very much for your help!
Hi Paula - you can drag the command area to be a little taller.
