Hi, I have been having an issue where the textures of multiple 3D scans (done using iPad LiDAR) that I am stitching together aren’t loading in properly. One loads in fine then the rest either dont load in at all or dont map to the mesh. I have tried for a while now with different import settings, file formats (FBX and OBJ) even putting it all into blender to stitch it all together and exporting it all as one mesh and the issue is still the same. The first mesh that imports seems to import ok but the others after that dont work. The screenshots are of the mesh that I combined in Blender and then exported as one mesh into rhino and the same issue happens. Ive even consulted chat gpt…. Im on MacOS 26.0 and on the latest Rhino (8.23) and not running any plug-ins. Any help is really appreciated, Thanks!
You probably have the image file names the same between scans. You have to make sure the names of the image files are different before importing the next.
Rhino doesn’t deal very well with texture image files that have the same name.

I have added this thread to the bug report as well ( RH-77168 Rendering Textures: Incorrect mapping for textures with same name )
