Texture and adding texts/logos etc. at same time[Solved - use decals command - slow]

For either V5 or V6, I’d like to have texture mapping and labels on a same object.

I read somewhere Rhino Render only used channel 1, and multiple channels can’t be used.

For now I just made a new surface and just placed it near the surface for now…
Any tips for other good way to do it?

I just tried out decal and only appears after rendering…

Is there any other good way to put on texts and icons?

Can be done realtime with Cycles in viewport but modifiying the decal size and position is really slow…

It is currently slow since the decals are ‘baked’ into one texture. It is on my list to directly support decals in RhinoCycles/Raytraced
