TextObject -- multiple lines

i thought the ability to use the return key within the TextObject command was implemented already but if so, it’s no longer working.

(i needed to enter multiple lines of text as curves yesterday but was surprised to find return key completed the command while in the text entry field)

maybe one for the pile? the ability to enter multiple lines of text in TextObject?
or-- is there some trick to getting a return in the entry field?

anyway, a decent workaround was to type the text in textEdit.app then copy/paste into the TextObject command dialog.

This problem also exists in Rhino for Windows, so it’s probably always been that way. --Mitch

oh. ok.
maybe I’m confusing textobject with the Text command (which now accepts multiple lines on Mac)

the copy/paste work around isn’t a painful one so I’ll just stick with that.
