Text Size changes when exported as .DXF

Dear All,

I’m having trouble exporting text to .dxf. I have a R7 file set up in cms units and I export using the .dxf ‘2007 lines’ export settings. When I import the dxf into 3DR the text size has become smaller and the spacing is bigger.

Any suggestions 3DR is in meters units.

Hi Pascal, I just tried the export of text with these settings on and off and found they did not affect the text size at all. The Rhino text height was 45mm when exported as .dxf in ‘lines2007’ and imported to 3DR the text shrinks to 38mm.

Any other thoughts on why this is happening ?

Does this happen with all fonts? btw: what is 3dr?
When you re-import the file back in Rhino, will the font change in size/spacing?
