Text and TextObject default justification

Not sure if this issue has been mentioned, but just in case -

Currently, the default justification with Text and TextObject is Left, Upper - that is that the text is inserted to the right and below the selected insertion point.

However, in V5 and earlier the default justification is Left, Lower - that is that the text is inserted to the right and above the selected insertion point.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I believe the V5 method is more “standard” relative to other programs, hence I do not understand the change…

Hey Mitch,
In RH6, that totally depends on your annotation style. With my default annotation style, the insertion point is Lower, Center.

Yes, but the default (annotation style) is also Left, Upper…

Hi Mitch - you are correct, and I do not know why this is different… I’ll see what I can find out…
So far, it appears that is a deliberate decision… still asking…
