Sorry, this did not help me very much. I want to test shear strength and lateral resistance for a vertical oriented hollow core slab. Is this possible in Karamba?
Hi @Robin_H, for analyzing hollow core slabs with the current version 2 of K3D you would have to use a rectangular hollow cross section as a replacement for the actual cross section. The web-, upper and lower flange thickness need to be chosen such that the correct resistance values result. Make sure to modify the tensile strength of the default concrete materials to take account of the prestress present in the hollow core slab elements.
