Tekla Live Link - can`t connect

Hello

After latest update of Rhino I can`t connect with Tekla Live Link 1.21 with any version of Tekla (2023,2024,2025). I don’t installed any plugins last time and earlier everything was working properly. What could be a problem?

Hi Chris, I just installed Rhino version 8 SR27 and everything seems fine there.

What happens when you launch Grasshopper? Any pop-up messages or messages in the Rhino command window? Any balloon messages on the inserted Tekla components?

In each version of Tekla I have information that I can`t connect to Tekla and window

I tried to copy dll from Tekla but it doesn`t work. One thing which I changed on my computer last time was installing latest service pack of Tekla 2023 - it was SR14.

Hello!
I think I’ve found a solution. Until now, I was running Rhino in administrator mode and everything worked. Now, when I run it in administrator mode, it doesn’t work, so I changed it to run Rhino without administrator mode, and Tekla Live Link started working. This is very strange behavior, but it works for now :slight_smile: Again, sorry for the confusion, but maybe this will be useful to someone else.

Sounds a bit strange indeed, but good that you got it working!

If your admin username is different from your normal one i could maybe see this happen, but normally they would be the same (and you say it used to work anyway) :thinking:
