Tapered Roof - Element Parts Geometry Extraction Not Working

Hi Everyone,

I’m trying to set up a workflow for extracting the structural layers of all the wall, floor and roof assemblies in my project.

When I try to extract the element geometry from my roof assemblies that are tapered, nothing is returned. Is this a bug or a Revit API limitation?

Any insight would be much appreciated.

I’ll dig some more to see what the limitations are, but it looks like anything with a variable thickness excludes the Element from the Create Parts button (Element Parts Geometry) .
