Tab stop is not working in r6 sr18

tab stop is not working in r6 sr18.

when I want to list up things in a text field with tab stop rhino simply ignores all tab stops and converts them to spaces, and the result is not lined up any more.

Hello - here it looks like leading tabs are ignored completely, ‘internal’ ones work - is that what you see?

what do you exactly mean with “internal” ones?
I attached two example images:

After closing the window the “tsb stops” are converted to spaces.
