T-Splines for Rhino v4.0: issues with upgrading

HI,

I am new to the forum. I would like to get some feedback and advice regarding the T-Splines for Rhino v4.0 upgrade. I purchased T-splines for Rhino on July 9th, 2013. I attempted to upgrade to T-Splines v4.0 in June and was hoping to pay the reduced upgrade price. I originally purchased T-Splines through Novedge. When I contacted Novedge about upgrading to v4.0 I was told that because I purchased T-Splines on July 9, 2013, only six days after the July 3, 2013, I now have to purchase T-Splines for Rhino v4.0 at the full retail price. So I missed the July 3rd cut-off by 6 days. Who and what defines this July 3rd cut-off date? I paid full price for T-Splines in 2013. Why do I have to pay full price again in 2015 for a moderate upgrade to the software?

T-Splines was acquired by Autodesk a few years back, and is now part of Fusion360. They supported the Rhino plug-in for a brief time, but then killed that off.

You are not going to be able to upgrade.
