The SynchronizeRenderColors command changes an object’s material color to match its object or layer display color. This is useful feature, but it would be even more useful if it could change the color of the layer material as well.
When I start new project, I define new layers and their colors. I want too use the same colors in all display modes so that I know what is what, no matter which display mode I use. Unfortunately, the initial color of all objects in Rendered and Raytraced display modes is white, so I have to waste time manually assigning the colors to the layer materials. (Artistic, Pen, and Arctic modes are fine - they have unusual colors because they have unique properties.)
