Swing simulation

Not sure how to approach this…

This might be my first commercial product design, please bare with my innocence…

Im designing a new golf putter because my 3 other putters are well too old (+40 years). I could CNC it, why not…

This guy kind of pushed me to do it and i can have the means to go that way…

From the design view seems easy to design a golf putter.

But from the physics involved I’m a little perplexed. After some research I know the build of the club will come with experience later (material stability, club design, assembly) - which is maybe the easy part. But balance in the swing and weighting the club right is I think it’s an important side to consider.

Can GH help?

I will have 2-6 different weighted 3D zones to distribute the weights (depending on the designs i will make), the one that worries me is the club’s shaft and rotation…

So the question that came up in my cerebral cavity is 'Can I use Kangaroo or Galapagos to simulate the weight balance in the putting swing? See a result with a ball on a green?

I plan to carve models of wood or metal with the CNC, add epoxy (maybe) - im not copying Bradley putters…
