Sweep2Rail says curves too close but they are far apart

I have even tried projectToCplane, sometimes sorts out things.

why will rhino not sweep2rails these two curves along the straight rails.

Hi Steve,

It’s probably because the egg-shaped curves are in fact 4 curves ( 2 groups of 2)
It’s indeed not obvious when selecting them inside the command.
