Whenever I create a polysurfice with sweep and try to close it with cap, planarsrf + join, or createsolid it “cracks”. When I was first learning rhino a couple of months ago that would never happen, maybe cause the geometry was simpler (lol), but still…
I’ve can use flow, wich works fine for some of the things I need, but is not as practical for me as sweep. I work with a lot of curves and curved edges, and I need them to be closed solids, so…
@Mari_JD Upload a .3dm file with a sample of the geometry which has the problem. You can either drag the file to where you type a post, or click on the vertical arrow icon above where you type a post.
Speculation without an example: You may need to adjust the “Render mesh” settings in Options > Mesh such that the render mesh is more refined.
Some of that looks like meshing stuff that could be fixed with different settings and/or using the comamnd “Reparameterize” with the Automatic option to try to “even out the paremeterization so that the meshing works better.”
I guess that’s largely it, but I sometimes get weird shading artifacts with the skylight on models where the mesh looks fine.
