I need to sweep between two closed curves while maintaining the profile. I have managed to get what I want but am not fully satisfied with the output…
The sweep is getting pinched in the middle for some reason
Does anyone have a solution for this problem. I have attached the GH file

Your profile control points are the issue. The rails curvature goes one way, and the profile curvature goes in the opposite direction, forcing the resulting surface to get really tight.
I would use a different approach for this surface, maybe tweens and lofts.
Do you have a way to tween the curves, I tried doing this with pufferfish but the result was not correct.?
Your lower curve is quite distorted or in other words far away from planar.
Maybe there’s a better way to create a more even cutout in your surface around your hole?
Can you share a Rhino file with the other object?
