Sweep 1 rail history

Hi all.I did a Rhino 6 sweep 1 rail with one section only, to semplify .I tried to do it with Runscript ,with rhinocommand and with the command in the document without any code. I saw that if a section is in the start point (0 normalized parameter) when i modify this section or the binary, history fails. It happens only sometimes, i can’t undestand the issue.I would like to solve it managing the tolerance putting for example at a minimum distance from start point , could it be a good idea? Has
Someone else this problem? Is this a bug? Thank you

Hi @gianfranco74,

Can you run SystemInfo and post the results here?

Sorry if i’m late, here my system info.info.txt (1.8 KB)

Hi Dale. I noticed that if I change the seam of the section it works. The problem is that I need the seam in that position.
I tried to orient the section perpendicular to curve and it works.
Probabably I saw another thing that can help:The method curve domain. ParameterAt(normalized parameter) gives wrong VALUES (IF I USE IT CORRECTLY. Is normalized parameter the correct parameter to pass to that method?).
Thank you

Hello - when the update fails, is there a message at the command line saying “History failed to update one object?”

Both cases work here (update correctly) in the file you posted.

-Pascal

Hi Pascal, thank you for replay. I don’ have the message(it is set on message ) but i have a prompt “La storia di costruzione non è riuscita ad aggiornare 1 oggetto.” (that translated form italian is The construction history failed to update 1 object." . Please try to move the section in the following file, not the binary, in this file and see if it works.

Hi Pascal. I’m trying a lot of combinations. i noticed one thing. If i use the section of the file i sent to you the sweep1 will give a polisurface. If a move the section away form the binary the sweep1 will give a surface. do you think that is the problem?

HI Pascal. I tried a sweep 1 with a circle and a section with seam at the start point and it makes a polysurface with 4surfaces!!!
