Surface morph not working as expected

Hi there,

I’m trying to morph some geometry into a surface using the Surface Morph node. It’s working but the morphed geometry isn’t covering the surface area as expected, so I thought maybe the surface should be an untrimmed surface, so I recreated the surface into untrimmed one, but still that didn’t solve the issue.
Any ideas what I’m missing here folks?

Perhaps it is because the morph geometry is not aligned with the XY of the World.

I checked and as you can see in the image, the bounding box is aligned with the World XY.

I am sorry if I have misinterpreted your idea.

I think the problem is that there are gaps between the BoundingBox and the morph geometries in the figure below.

Yes indeed it turned out to be the problem, because once I changed the reference geometry by fitting it inside of the Bounding Box, everything worked out perfectly!
