Hi everyone,
I’m working on a perforated surface pattern using the Surface Morph component in Grasshopper.
When I morph my base geometry (a perforated panel with curved slope details) onto a target surface, only the pattern of the holes is successfully mapped but the curvature and slope details of the original geometry disappear.
The target surface I’m mapping onto was created in Rhino, and I connected it to Grasshopper using the “Set One Surface” input on the Surface component.
Does anyone know how to preserve the 3D depth and curvature of the original geometry when using Surface Morph?
Any suggestions on what might be causing this flattening issue, or how to set it up correctly, would be greatly appreciated.
