Hi @Piotr,

Just a quick check,

Is this setting on?

This could be 1 reason that your not seeing surface edges

If possible, could you share your file. I could check if there are showing on my device.

Hi @Piotr,

Thank you for the file, I see that you have a layer called glass, which also has a Opacity property.
Can you test with making that one “solid” again? If I remember correctly I had some trouble with that in the past as well.

I am seeing surface edges, but it might be that my Rendered display mode is different then yours.
I might also miss some textures?

(file opened on Rhino 8 SR10)

are there any driver updates available for that card?

Unfortunately not:

Can you repeat it with a simple example as well or is it specific to that file? In any case a sample file will be helpful, maybe Jeff has one of those cards.

Interesting…
New file has the edges displayed correctly:

Object to the left is a Ghosted mode, the one to the right is a render mode with simple glass applied.

Something must be going on inside the file.

@Piotr there is definitely something odd going on with edges when there are transparent objects in the scene.
I’ve added RH-83229 Edges are not displayed correctly with transparent objects

@Piotr this issue seems to have been introduced in 8.9, if you want I can send you 8.8 which does not have this issue (but note that in that build there is an issue with clipping planes and GPU tesselation)

Nah, I’m OK (so far).
Mine and my company’s major tool is still V7, but thanks.
P
