Hello - Save to a different format than the current one will lose information and thus will not be a real Save - that is a reason for having SaveAs.

Hello - and no one is surprised that information is missing? In your example (V7/WIP) if you choose to save in an earlier format that does not support SubD for example, and you reopened the file later, all your subDs would be Breps. To me it just seems like asking for trouble - what is the goal of this, for you?

Because I often forget to save as at the end of the job and the problem arises

i will use this option When work without SubdObject by Rhino7,…

Hello - you can make your own save button or alias

! _-Save _Version=6 _Enter

thanks it is very useful

Everytime I Save with WIP i have to answer twice (2) to save in R6 format. Same thing in R6; if I try to save in R5 fmt I have to say that twice. It’s really annoying.
