I had hopes for this operation to work. If you need I can elaborate more about it, but let’s start with it just like that - it would be a huge improvement.
Agree. The Content Cache component doesn’t support VisualARQ objects right now. We will work on it in future updates.

I’ve investigated why “Content Cache” doesn’t work, and the problem is that these new “Model Object” features in Grasshopper for Rhino 8 are not exposed in the SDK, so third-party plugins like VisualARQ or Lands cannot use them.
I’ve contacte a McNeel developer asking if they can publish these features in the SDK.

There are many native Rhino 8 things not working with the VA. There also doubled primitive types components (e.g. Hatches) that also are not interchangeable and it’s very messy right now.
@Czaja as you may have seen in other post (and just for anyone who ends up in this Topic), the VisualARQ objects work with the Content Cache component since the 3.3 RC2 version.
