Substance importer not working in latest V7

Hi McNeel (maybe @andy?)
I can’t get sbsar files to work in the latest version of V7 - plugin V2.0.2.0 is installed and loaded. It just gives me the attached dialog box when I try to import the file (any sbsar!). Sysinfo below.
TIA, Jakob

This is something for @lars.

How are you importing the SBSAR file?

Hi @nathanletwory and @lars
Tried both “Import from Material Library” and drag’n’drop. I just tried to uninstall and then re-install the plugin, and still no luck.
-Jakob

Does the following still work?

  1. Add a Substance material as a new material
  2. Use the Open button on the material to select the SBSAR file.

D’oh! I never noticed that button before - That works! But still… sbar is still listed under “Import from Material Librabry” and that’s not working.
Thanks a lot, Nathan!
-Jakob

Thanks for checking. @lars is going to have a look at the other two ways of importing an SBSAR file.

Hi @Normand,

the bug got fixed and will be in the next Rhino 7 Release Canidate.

Thanks.
-Lars
