Subobject material render preview mapping bug

Hi McNeel
View attached video for a really weird bug: Two dials, same materials applied t both. On the left, the numbers are a separate surface, on the right, the numbers are applied as subobject material. Notice how the subobject material spins at twice the actual speed when rotated. As soon as the command is executed, all is well, but the preview is wrong. I tried to rotate the dials to a specific number and was VERY confused for a minute or two - until I actually completed the command and saw that everything ended up as intented.
