Is it possible to move a sublayer out of its nest so that it simply becomes a layer?
Hello - yep - select the layer and click on the left-pointing arrow in the layer toolbar at the top of Layers, until it moves out/up the structure as far as you wanrt. Or drag it to a blank area of Layers.
