Hello, forum,

how would you make SubD (in grey) to lay beneath a path (in orange). As you see, it is already done like stated, but I wish to get rid of those soft ridges near path edge. My method was to project SubD vertices onto path surface.

Do you have any nice workflow of solving this issue?

Hi @Devonha
Basically you are working in the opposite direction of you topology layout, so your faces wrinkle. In sub-d you need to make sure that the flow of your topology supports your design intentions. If you want to use sub-d for this, I’d delete the faces under and around the path and the use `Bridge` to build new faces with the edges “flowing” in the right direction.
