Hi there,
using the _ToNurbs
command on a SubD object with the option _DeleteInputObjects=Yes
deletes the created brep. Should’t it delete the input SubD object instead ?
thanks,
c.

If that’s the case that’s certainly a bug. I don’t see that happening here though. Can you post _SystemInfo?
Hi @Gijs, i’ve found it’s not as easy as switching the _DeleteInputObjects
Option to Yes
and pressing Enter to repeat the bug.
If i open Rhino, switch that option to Yes
, everything works as expected. But if i do enter the SubDOptions
before and toggle the ForceUpdateFacePack
and ShowFacePacks
options, then go back to the higher level of the command options, it somehow leaves the command in a state where it never creates a brep, regardless of the DeleteInputObjects
state.
I have to close Rhino to actually reset the command so it creates a brep again. I’m using (8.14.24325.13001, 2024-11-20), please find my SystemInfo below.

RH-84973 SubD ForceUpdateFacePacks breaks ToNurbs
i already had reported this issue here but it does not seem to depend on the option ForceUpdateFacePacks at least not on mac.
RH-84973 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 15 Release Candidate
