SubD: Smooth transition between Creased and Non-Creased edges?

Is it possible to achieve a smooth transition in these situations? (maybe automatic?)
Right now there’s an odd kink happening.

You would need a parameter (expressed in percentage, for example) that allows you to set a region of influence at the crease (higher percentage = softer fold and greater area; lower percentage = sharper fold and smaller area of influence).

I’ve learned that this will not change for the release of v7. There are underlying algorithms that require this currently but we’ll look into other options in the future. My best suggestion would be to add edge loops and edit proximity with SlideEdge versus a single edge crease. [image]
