These bloody things seem great…
…that is, until you are working in a 1.5gb file with thousands of imported engineering parts upon which you are trying to sketch some surfaces and you accidentally drag across causing Rhino to try to highlight literally tens of thousands of points and then hang.
When one of the above is active, I ONLY want to select subd, nothing else. Those shortcuts should be updated to prevent having to kill and restart Rhino when this happens.
In the meanwhile, anyone have a workaround as to what added commands I need to modify the shortcuts with so that they only work on subd objects and ignore everything else?
(Also, for anyone pointing out that I could lock the layers with the heavy objects on, that’s not a good solution because then they’d be visible when I do isolate, and I do isolate a lot… however, in writing this, it dawns on me that I have that excellent Block plug-in installed which has toggle options for blocking and hiding so maybe I can put all of my subd objects in a block and use that…)
