Hi, looking for some help. At 1:14:00 into the Remote Control build, a method for extruding a subD is explained.
Select the lower antenna loop, drag the gumball scale, hit shift, hit control. This should extrude a subD face. I have tried multiple times but can’t get that to work. I have been working with subD and I am in the process of reviewing things to get faster. What would I be missing? The tutorial seems pretty straight forward. Any help would be appreciated.

you have to hold the buttons in order.
start dragging a scale handle (don’t let go) now hold shift (don’t let go, now hold ctrl (don’t let go)
holding all 3 controls down as you drag to your desired size and notice it extrudes as you go.
it’s a little fingery until you get used to it, then it’s super fast.

Rhino 7 SubD and NURBS remote control. This extrude method starts at 1 hour and 14 minutes in and it focuses on the antenna base.
I did receive a reply from Kyle as well.
I was still not having any luck, so tried this on a new SubD cylinder, and it worked fine. I must have done something to the original SubD when forming the antenna tip.

I want to thank both you and Pascal for the help. I re-created a SubD cylinder, and this method worked fine.
I must have corrupted the subD surface when creating the tip because it would not work on my original surface.
I will be more diligent in checking things before submitting a post.
