SubD Radiate Reflect - multiple times (wish/feature)

Dear @pierrec

the help claims
“The Radiate command removes the existing symmetry if the input is a Radiate or Double-Reflect SubD.”

why ?

just came across this other topic and the symmetry needs 2x reflect + 1x radiate to be described correct:

for this part it would be great to assign reflect twice:
(cyan planes)
and radiate n=2 arround the cyan axis once.

it is not a must have feature - more an academic question / question of interest.

Edit

ok there is a workaround:
use history.
_mirror (copy=yes)
_rotate3d (copy=yes)
_joincopy
_copy (to move the stuff to a new offset place)
hide the objects from all intermediate states above. (or put them on a hidden layer)

I agree that it would be nice, and the case where you want three symmetry planes that are all orthogonal to each others would be easier to implement than the general case, and is probably the most useful.

RH-99230 SubD Symmetry: Allow multiple reflections on same object

There are lots of other bugs in the SubD Symmetry list to fix before I get to that one, unfortunately.
