is there a way to insert a certain number of edges in between two edges in subd, when I want to insert edge and write and amount x it only adds one edge that is x unit away from the other edge, what I want is to add x number of edges in between two edges
bridge
one approach would be to use _bridge
this command allows to enter the amount of segements
maybe with some helper-SubD-Faces
delete the inital face
redraw it with _bridge and use the desired amount of segements
optional delete the helper-Face
subDPlane
… allows to draw a planar surface with X-Count by Y-Count faces.
of course both or one value can be 1.
