Sub-D display glitch, but only with reflect = ON

When doing the Sub-D inset command, the ‘dynamic tracking’ is not showing if the geometry has reflect ON. You only get tracking with reflect OFF. This used to work fine in both situations.

QUESTION : is this a setting I missed or a bug?

BACKGROUND : In my Rhino class, we saw the same behaviour on 15+ workstations. It is consistent.

Running Rhino 8 on Windows 11 (24H2)
Rhino 8 SR16 (8.16.25014.10001, 2025-01-14)
EDIT : A new version was released. The issue is still there.
Version 8 SR16 (8.16.25021.13001, 2025-01-21)
