Strange viewport behavior in R8

Somehow my viewports behave really strage. When i am selecting something all of a sudden i see a rotated grid in the background and teh viewport ha s a new constructionplane as it seems. Annoying. I can fix it by setting the view again. Si if i am in topview i set the view to topview again and the grid goes back to where it should be. Never had this in R7. Is there a way to lock the view from doiing this?

That is the auto cplane you’re seeing. In the status bar you will find a way to disable that.
