Strange SubD bug, object disappears visually, still can be selected

Hi, think I found a bug in R7

I created a new Subd object by copying faces from another part. I thickened it and now when I try to edit it in any way, move edge/face etc it vanishes. First I thought I accidently hid it but after some testing it just disappears as soon as I release the mouse button after a transformation or delete. It can be selected again with select all. It shows in the command line that 1 object was selected but I can’t get it to appear again with Show objects but If I do a ctrl+z it reappears.

I have the latest windows 11, Rhino 7 and Nvidia Drivers.

I narrowed it down a bit, I rebuilt the object and something happens when I do Offset Subd if I offset outwards its ok, If I do it inwards it becomes this bugged thingy. I also reduced it down to one face, same issue and I made an example file whith the un-offsetted face and one offsetted in one direction and one in the other that bugs out.

I am seeing the same weird behavior here-

I’d need to loop in @pierrec or @dalelear to take a peek at this and see what I’m missing as to why this is happening.
