Strange behaviour of hatch in pdf

hi everyone,

I got this in Rhino (viewport):

Which looks like this when exported to pdf:

  1. Why is the outline of the left figure discontinuous? Rhino says its a closed curve and you can see this in the viewport (first image).
  2. Why is the hatch so distorted?

Model is in meters, figure is ~2 m high.
