after recent update not working? does not load and quits before starting

Which version? Appstore build or Testflight build?
i tried both recent versions, maybe it has to do that i had an unsaved file open? first i updated testflight then updated irhino (i think), which did not work, the app pops up grey for short then quits before it starts. i then deleted irhino completely and reinstalled with the same effect.
the testflight and the app store versions appeared to me to be the same or should they be separate instances?
I had the same problem before upgrading to iPadOS 17.2

now that you mention it, i believe that happened after i have update the ios 16.6.1
The TestFlight install and AppStore install are different versions but installing one will overwrite the other.
Since I can’t reproduce the issue it’ll be helpful if you can go back through previous builds in TestFlight and find out if there’s an older version that works on your device.
Once I know what version broke this for you I can probably fix it.

I’m hearing similar issues with iOS 16. I wonder if upgrading to iOS 17 will fix it. Can you try that?
This indeed was a problem I had introduced in the last version published to Appstore which made the app incompatible with iOS 16 or older.
I just released a new version to the Appstore, updating version 8.4.24018 should fix your issue.
