I am having issues when trying to import .step files into rhino 9. I am getting dialog that says Blocking plug-in STEP import

I can’t reproduce that in a quick test here.
Is this file-specific on your end or does it also happen when you create a simple box in a new Rhino instance, export that to step, and then import that file?
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste its output here.

it does happen if i just make a box. export as step and try to reimport it

so i went into plugin manager and enabled step import and restarted and this worked. not sure why or how this was disabled. easy fix. apologies for the simple post
