Not sure if this is a bug or something I’m doing wrong in the beta, but there are no longer any points on Stairs to allow me to shift existing components - basically there are no point handles whatsoever.

Hi James, can you share a sample file with this issue? I can see the grip points on stairs here on my PC with VA3 Beta:
Yes I get no grip points on any of my stairs in this file. See image below and attached file.

Control points works for me on your document.
Have you disabled the option in Rhion 8 to show control points automatically?
What happens if you execute the command PointsOn ?

F10 does absolutely nothing. The points don’t come on, there are no grip points at all and the control points are switched on for my Rhino 8.

Looking closely at your screenshot, I can see there are grip points, be they are hidden by the object itself:
This is the same I see when opening the document on my computer. This stair has only two control points, which are very close. Those are the points used to create the stair. If you rotate the view, you should be able to see the other control point.
