SR8 Shaded viewport oddity

There was a change in SR8 that stopped faces from turning black when shaded and rotated. In SR8 the faces don’t turn black, but there is an odd reflection now. It looks like a focal point of light reflecting on the surface. Is this adjustable? I checked the custom lighting settings, but they match V5, so I nothing jumps out at me as a way to change this.

Overall, I find the shaded viewport in V6 to be a bit too reflective.
