Split/ trim? curve and extrude

Hi,

I am trying to split the circle so that only the blue of the circle remain and then extrude the whole yellow part up 5mm so that all the yellow is 5mm but the blue outline (hinges) are a seperate body extrusion

Check out the Trim with Region and Trim with Regions components in the Intersect > Region tab.

You have it mixed up. Your circle should be your region (R input).

It works fine. I dunno why you plug points into P. It wants a Base Plane, not points. If you hover over inputs you will see a description of what the input wants.

Right, my mistake thankyou. Although should the copy trim now work for the other vertices? I have arrayed the corner piece to all vertices but can’t get the cut out on more than one.
